Health and safety policy

As part of our health and safety management system, we take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of everyone on our site and to protect their physical and mental health. At Riva industries, we develop a culture of prevention, we ensure compliance with approved safety procedures and we ensure also the well-being of our employees.

Quality policy

Riva industries quality management system is certified in accordance with high national and international standards. It is based on:

  • A Rigorous control: We carry out numerous controls on our products in order to manufacture high quality steels. Our laboratories are equipped with the necessary instruments to verify all metallurgical, mechanical and geometric characteristics of our products.
  • A Regular organization of quality circles: it promotes collaborative work, exchange and mutual assistance and it leads to a continuous quality improvement.
  • A participatory approach with an aim of giving production line operators the tools and methods to solve problems in the field.
  • By following this path, Riva Industries is committed to maintaining and advancing its leadership in Quality management, Safety and Environment, for which it was accredited: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Environmental approach

Our highest priority is to guarantee a high degree of environmental safety; our operational guidelines are based on the most rigorous national and international standards with the aim of having the most eco-friendly production processes.

We have advanced production equipment for rolling long steels with the latest technologies in recycling metal scrap, emitted smokes as well as sewage treatment, and according to the most demanding international standards. This approach allows circular economy which is a lever for competitiveness and sustainable development.

In perspective, we are working on a citizen agenda for renewable energies that aims to substitute 30% of electrical energy consumed by wind energy.
