Job:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all mechanical and hydraulic maintenance activities of the steelworks department and as such your mission will:

• Develop the preventive and corrective maintenance schedule for the various equipment and materials, while managing the priorities, safety and constraints of productionRéagir en cas de panne grave et résoudre les problèmes rapidement
• React in case of a serious breakdown and solve problems quickly
• Control the interventions carried out, propose improvements in machine performance in terms of costs and operation rate
• Organize teams, train and lead them and provide them with technical support
• Raise awareness and train personnel in predictive maintenance
• Ensure technological supervision and technical document management

Required profile:

• Master degree level; Engineer in mechanical engineering, you have an experience of at least 8 years in a similar function in heavy industry (steelworks, foundry, cement …)
• You are familiar with problem solving methods and continuous improvement tools (PDCA, 5S, SMED, AMDEC, etc.)
• You are endowed with leadership, team spirit, organizational skills and communication skills
• Fluency in operational English is essential
